Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Coordinator based in Seattle, WA, supporting Washington, Oregon, and Idaho commercial and residential projects. In this role, individual will be responsible for developing project support materials ( proposals, quotations, drawings, submittals), answering project related RFI's and questions, and supporting the factory-direct specification sales teams in these states. Role will include direct interaction with a wide variety of Lutron's top customers, including Architechts, Interior Designers, Consulting Engineers, Lighting Designers, Design-Build Electrical Contractors, etc. Position may also include direct contact with installers ( electrical, AV and window systems), end-users and other manufacturer's representatives.
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Territory Sales Manager and outside factory-direct salespeople to develop project-specific specification, bid, buy and closing strategies that will drive sale to achieve 20% or better
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with specifiers, project developers, owners-representatives and owners/end-users as required at all levels
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with other territory manufacturer's representatives to ensure that Lutron is positioned for success on all project bid situations
  • Actively follow-up on leads and system projects in the territory (job tracking) and communicate information on out-of-territory specifications
  • Complete project specific concept and design drawings using AutoCAD software in a timely manner
  • Provide project proposals as required, working in conjugation with the sales team
  • Provide project take-off services and quotations services to support bid-buy strategies
  • Develop and provide submittal packets and supporting project documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required- Engineering or Technical Preferred
  • Must have excellent automation skills (Powerpoint, Excel, Word); AutoCAD and Autosketch skills a MUST in this role
  • Prior inside sales/ project management experience in the electrical industry or as an inside sales/project manager with a manufacturer's representative of technical electrical products a plus
  • Understanding of energy codes (national, local, regional) a plus
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization and with a wide variety of customers.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, project management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service oriented, changing environment
  • 7+ years of experience
